Tri-City Snappers 11U seize victory thanks to late double, drop Westpark 8-5

Tri-City Snappers 11U and Westpark exchanged the lead six times on Sunday, but Tri-City Snappers 11U ended up on top with an 8-5 win in six innings over Westpark.

Tri-City Snappers 11U took the lead in the sixth inning and held on for the victory. Tri-City Snappers 11U scored on a two-run double by James Shuppoff #5, plating Spencer Schmid and AJ Hescht.

Jacob Rimel got a hit in each of his two at bats. He singled in the fourth and sixth innings.

Tri-City Snappers 11U jumped out to an early 1-0 lead in the top of the first. The Tri-City Snappers 11U attack began with a single from Kaden Campbell.

It didn't take long for Westpark to respond as it scored one run of its own in the first. Westpark scored on a groundout by #9.

Tri-City Snappers 11U got one-run rallies in the second inning and the third. In the second, Tri-City Snappers 11U scored on an RBI single by Spencer, scoring Zach Stair.

After a quick strike from Tri-City Snappers 11U , Westpark responded with three runs in the second. Westpark scored on a two-run single by #4 and a groundout by #5.

Tri-City Snappers 11U never surrendered the lead after the sixth inning. The runs piled on thanks to a groundout by Phillip Stauffer and two singles.

Tri-City Snappers 11U jumps on theB.A.T. Cage Bulldogs early and coasts to 26-1 win

Tri-City Snappers 11U refused to relinquish the lead after grabbing it early against the B.A.T. Cage Bulldogs, recording a 26-1 victory on Sunday at Wellington, Ohio.

Twenty-six runs in the first three innings allowed Tri-City Snappers 11U to put the game away early.

A three-run home run by Kaden Campbell, a steal of home by Joey Derusso, a two-run error, and an error during the first inning and a solo home run by Phillip Stauffer, an RBI single by Joey, an RBI single bySpencer Schmid, a hit by pitch, a three-run double by Jacob Rimel, a two-run single by Brock Berry, and a wild pitch in the second inning supplied the early offense for Tri-City Snappers 11U .

Kaden racked up five RBIs on four hits for Tri-City Snappers 11U .

Tri-City Snappers 11U easily handled the B.A.T. Cage Bulldogs pitching as 10 hitters combined for 20 hits, 19 RBIs and 26 runs scored.
