Tri-City Snappers 11U drops 13-4 game to Alliance Elite


Tri-City Snappers 11U scattered five hits on Saturday, but weren't able to push enough runs across, and lost 13-4 to Alliance Elite at Orr Park Orrville, Ohio.
Zach Stair got on base two times in the game for Tri-City Snappers 11U . He singled in the second inning.
Tri-City Snappers 11U jumped out to an early 1-0 lead in the bottom of the first. A single by Phillip Stauffer, plating Joey Derusso started the inning off.
Tri-City Snappers 11U answered Alliance Elite's top inning with one run of its own in the second. Tri-City Snappers 11U scored on an error.
Alliance Elite didn't relinquish the lead after scoring six runs in the third inning when it scored on an error, two singles, and a steal of home by #5.
Tri-City Snappers 11U scored one run in the third inning, and then followed it up with one more in the sixth. In the third, Tri-City Snappers 11U scored on a groundout by Henry Nebesky, scoring Joey.
Alliance Elite added three more runs in the top of the fourth. The inning got off to a hot start when #22 singled, scoring #33 and #18. That was followed up by #2's single, plating #22.
