Offense aplenty in Tri-City Snappers 11U 's 25-13 loss to Alliance Elite


Thirteen hits weren't enough for Tri-City Snappers 11U as it lost a shootout, 25-13 in six innings, to Alliance Elite on Saturday at Orr Park Orrville, Ohio.
James Shupp racked up three RBIs on two hits for Tri-City Snappers 11U . He singled in the second and fifth innings.
Alliance Elite easily handled Tri-City Snappers 11U pitching as seven hitters combined for 16 hits, 19 RBIs and 21 runs scored.
Alliance Elite went up for good in the first, scoring two runs on an error and an RBI single by #12.
After posting one run in the first, Tri-City Snappers 11U again scored one in the second. In the first, Tri-City Snappers 11U scored on an RBI single byHenry Nebesky, scoring Joey Derusso.
Alliance Elite added seven more runs in the top of the second. #22 kicked things off with a single, bringing home #18.
After pushing across four runs in the bottom of the third, Tri-City Snappers 11U faced just a 13-6 deficit. A fielder's choice, an RBI double by Henry, an RBI single by Kaden Campbell, and an RBI single by Zach Stair sparked Tri-City Snappers 11U 's rally.
Tri-City Snappers 11U scored two runs in the bottom of the fourth to cut its deficit to 10. A groundout by Spencer Schmid and a groundout by Jacob Rimel triggered Tri-City Snappers 11U 's comeback. Finally, #8 induced an inning-ending ground out from Henry.
Five runs in the bottom of the fifth helped Tri-City Snappers 11U close its deficit to 20-13. A two-run single by James, an error, a groundout by Joey, and an RBI single by Phillip Stauffer gave Tri-City Snappers 11U life. Alliance Elite stopped the rally after #33 got Brock Berry to strike out.
