Tri-City Snappers 11U jumps onStreetsboro Rockets early and coasts to 21-5 win
Tri-City Snappers 11U jumped out to an early lead on Streetsboro Rockets and captured a 21-5 victory on Saturday at Orr Park Orrville, Ohio.
Eighteen runs in the first three innings allowed Tri-City Snappers 11U to put the game away early.
An RBI single by Brock Berry, an error, a groundout by Henry Nebesky, an RBI single by James Shupp, an RBI single by AJ Hescht, a steal of home by AJ, and a two-run single by Zach Stair in the first inning and an error during the second inning fueled Tri-City Snappers 11U 's offense early.
Joey Derusso had a busy day at the plate, collecting two extra-base hits.
Tri-City Snappers 11U hammered Streetsboro Rockets pitching as seven hitters had a field day, combining for 14 hits, 14 RBIs and 18 runs scored.
Four runs in the top of the third helped Streetsboro Rockets close its deficit to 9-4. A sacrifice fly by #6, a walk by #39, a sacrifice fly by #14, and a walk by #21 gave Streetsboro Rockets life. Finally, Zach induced an inning-ending strike out from #20.

Tri-City Snappers 11U quickly matched Streetsboro Rockets' strong inning with a three-run inning of its own in the fourth. Tri-City Snappers 11U scored on a two-run home run by Joey and an RBI double by James.
